Medina, Minnesota (February 26, 2010) - Through the loan of a 2010 Victory Vision ABS, Victory Motorcycles is sponsoring a national tour designed to bring attention to surviving pancreatic cancer. Chris Calaprice, an active rider and pancreatic cancer survivor, will ride all 50 states and over 42,000 miles.

Dedicated to raising awareness of and funds for pancreatic cancer scientific research, Road2ACure launches its national awareness campaign with a 50-state motorcycle and documentary tour. Fed up with sitting around and waiting for a cure to materialize on a cancer with the highest mortality rate of all leading cancers, 6-year pancreatic cancer survivor, continuous chemotherapy patient and Road2ACure co-founder, Chris Calaprice along with his wife Jennifer, Road2ACure President, are accelerating change, inspiring hope and changing lives.

Rider Report
Understanding that the key to finding a cure is bringing pancreatic cancer to the forefront of public discussion, since that is what will lead to more funding and more research, Chris and Jennifer will travel more than 42,000 miles making noise to drum up support, national media attention, events throughout the United States and incite people to take action. Each mile represents a person in the U.S. that will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this year. They will carry a message of hope to pancreatic cancer survivors, caregivers, volunteers, grassroots activists, policy makers, oncologists, medical centers, researchers, and local and federal legislators to show what it is like to live life with pancreatic cancer. Road 2 A Cure will ask the tough questions and bring you the answers from those in the know. This monumental journey will be captured on video and the footage will be broadcast here, on the web site, and ultimately turned into a documentary that can continue broadcasting the Road2ACure mission.
